Hi,

I have added a 2nd port card for running a 4th axis lathe, but cant get the 2nd port to show up on the diagnostics pages, so I can figure out the setup.   Can anyone give me the procedure to cause the 2nd port to show up so I can see all 48 pins etc..

I've never seen or heard it done, would almost require another screen...maybe worth a search. It can be done in Mach4, wx4.set has 40 output LEDs
and 36 input LEDs, and you can add as many as you can squeeze in.

I don't even think the display for the first port works correctly. And afaik, there is no option for the second port.
I don't know why you want or need this?
Just assign the appropriate port and pin numbers. Any LED's for standard inputs and outputs will still work if assigned to port 2, which should still show you when inputs and outputs are active.

The function for all the LEDs  associated with the port pins shown on the diagnostics screen are "reserved".  I don't recall a specific list of pin port LED's and only guess that the leds and scripting are internal to Mach3. Like Graig replied, I don't recall any thread / posting to add the second port pins to the diagnostics page of the screen set.

Follow what Gerry suggested.

even better than the fact there is plenty of them and that you may add them at will, they update super fast and they work; which was always
a bit hit and miss with Mach3 diagnostic LEDs.
