G-Code line limitation???
« on: June 22, 2007, 12:52:21 PM »
Is there a 50 line G-Code limitation for an unlicensed version of LC?  I'm running LC at work but not on the licensed PC connected to my machine.  Thanks.  Mike :o

I know of the 500 line g-code limit in Mach but this is in g-code generation from LazyCam.  I am only getting 50 lines out of LazyCam.  Thanks.  Mike :o

Mach3's limit is 1000 lines of code. Have not heard of any limit in LazyCAM.

There is a 50 line limit to Lcam if you are not a Licensed Mach3 user on that computer... We had to do this because we started to get users that were running the base version of Lcam and Not mach3! There is just no time to support a free product :( If you have a licensed version of Lcam you are all set and you don't need to have a Mach3 license (There are people running Lcam to program other controls :) )

Also the Gcode limit of Mach3 is now 500 because there were machines being shipped with Demo version of mach3 and the OEM was telling them that there was a 1000 line limit to the control! O well...
