New Control Panel for Mach3
« on: May 17, 2017, 06:38:03 AM »
Hi there, I am working on a control panel for my home made cnc router, I am running Mach3 and a UC100 usb motion controller and2010 screen set, I have made the control box with a joy sticks and buttons to activate the various mouse/key stroke commands, it is wired to a I-Pac2 key board emulator, my problem is:- I can understand how to allocate the basic short cut keys such as Page Up/Down left right etc, but for the likes of me I have no idea as to allocating the likes of Alt R for cycle run etc, has anyone done this or knows how to do this I would like to hear from you, keep in mind that I have no experience in writing macros or any thing like that, if some one can explain in plain and simple language the various steps and point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate the assistance.

You edit the hotkeys in a screen designer, like Screen4 or MachScreen.
Open the screenset, and you can change the hotkey by viewing the buttons "properties". Make a backup of the .set file before you start playing around.
