Not sure this is the correct forum, I am building a larger router table and am using two steppers on the x-axis. I know one will be considered a-axis. My dilema is should both steppers rotate the same direction or should one rotate counter the other?

That would most likely depend on how you have your motors mounted.

The plan is to have both motors on the same end of the table and right-handed screws.

Assuming both screws and motors identical then both would have identical motor tunings and the a would be slaved to the x and both would turn in the same.direction.
