Mach 4 stops at line 19091
« on: April 06, 2017, 02:57:09 PM »
My first post,

I am using Mach4 Hobby to face a surface but the program cuts at line 19091
line 19090   X229.03 Y227.898
line 19091    X228.833 Y227.848 F2000
line 19092    X228.655 Y227.748

system is in mm/min

Not sure why this is happening, the home/estop/limit switches both hard and soft are all green. I hit the cycle start button and the servos make a little thud with no real movement. Gcode was made using SW/SolidCam with an FANUCMach post processor. No tool change command on this run.

ideas?

Thanks!

This is not a definitive answer, but more of a speculation.

I wonder if the error you're experiencing is because your machine is looking ahead several lines of code. The error might be caused from a different line of code - something like a command to go outside of soft limits or some other error. That would show up in a line that is a fixed number of lines ahead of line 19091. I can't remember where the interface is in Mach 4 where you set how many lines it will look ahead.
