creating a second MACH3 profile?
« on: March 29, 2017, 06:39:14 AM »
Hello to all, I have read that  I can create  2   MACH 3 PROFILES for the same router machine.
 I built my machine 2 years ago and have just used it for general machining so far but now i want
 to take on some   V carving  and 3D fine detailing. I have the machine set biased towards velocity
in the motor tuning tab for profiling and general routing  but rather than change the settings each time
 I want to do some V carving , fine detailing etc. I would like to create the following;

 1.   A profile for all round profiling , general routing etc. with the motors  biased towards velocity in the motor tuning configuration,

2    A second profile for   3D work , fine detailed work etc.   with the motors biased towards acceleration .

Has anybody created a second profile that could give me a run down on how to go about this ?

  Thanks in advance,     Dermot

Start Mach3 loader, choose create profile.  Highlight your existing profile, enter a new name for the duplicate profile eg. AccellMill.

You can then change the motor tuning to whatever you want.  All the other settings, ports, pins, etc. are copied.
