Feed Hold issue with build 3233 and PMDX SmartBOBs
« on: January 09, 2017, 03:53:35 PM »
The behavior of Mach4 during feed hold changed with build 3206 and 3233. This change
caused PMDX SmartBOB boards to reject a command and resulted in a hung system.

An updated plugin has been issued to fix this problem. All SmartBOB users who plan to
run build 3206 or 3233 should install this new plugin. See:

F.A.O. Steve Stallings.

Dear Steve,
Re: PDMX411 and Mach4 with Windows 10 - 64 Bit
Thank you for your rapid response to the issue arising with Mach4 build 3233.
I installed the new plugin for my PMDX411 USB controller from the Mach4 support forum which cured the problem of Mach4 hanging on feed hold.
You provide excellent technical support via the forum – please keep up the good work!
I am very impressed with the PMDX411’s performance which drives my Lathe and Mill machine. (I have another supplier’s card which I have been waiting for 2 years for a promised USB driver that is still not available. I fear I have wasted my money on that one)
The PMDX411 is simple to install, hassle free and works perfectly.
Mach4 has also matured to the point where I feel very confident when using it.
Good luck with all your future endeavours.

Yours sincerely Joe (Snr)
