My school has an old EMCO Compact 5 PC that I would like to get going again. I've been reading and sending emails all over the place and I think I've come up with a parts list but I would really like people's opinions.

Motor Controller : Pokeys 57CNC
Motor Drive: Gecko G540
A couple of toroidal power supplies for the new boards.
Mach 4 software

I've never attempted anything like this so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
