Is CV still calculated if stepping through a program line by line?

Can anyone verify that the effects of CV on tool path are the same if stepping through the program line by line as opposed to running continuously? I'm using Mach3 v3.043.066.

Just an observational thought but i don't see how it can be - as each block ends surely its the same as exact stop? Can't be in CV if its stopped.

Just a thought.
