Hello Guys...

I have a Problem By configure my Modbus Input device...

My Hardware:
Modbus TCP Converter (USR-TCP232-410s)
Modbus 16 Digital Input Module (WP8026ADAM)

When i want to configure all 16 Inputs it don't work
When i configure less than 16 Inputs it Works. But the Input #1 is useless...
Mach 4 Diagnostic -> Modbus Shows ne the Second Input as the First...

The Module is in mach 4 configured as:
Function type: Read Input Discreats (0x2)
Function name: Inputs
Slave Adress: 10
Modbus register: 02
Register count: 15 (works without input #1)
Or
Register count: 16 (don't works at all)

I use the Modbus TCP converter because I use the smooth stepper Ethernet..

I want everything via network...

You may have a solution for this problem?

Dear Sirs,
I just started to retrofit a Cnc machine Biesse Rover 346.

I am planning to control all the digital I/O with ModBus tcp/up because I don't want to replace the original I/O modules.

Really, I don't know what is the communication protocol are the modules connected!!

As I see comm. wires has 3 wires look like A B and ground.
It sounds like RS485 could be???
Could 3 wires connection be not a RS 485 protocol?
 The module is SIR88 from CNI italy!!

So, please let me know what is the needed hardware and software and cables to do the job??
Please let me know some company names and give some examples for how to read and drive inputs and outputs by vb macros!!
