Hi,im italian,i want make on my cnc machine one atc system...
first of make the structure of atc,im want test if mach3 talk with it...
im want make a atc same cnc metal machine ( im work with cnc 19year)
im think my atc in same system:
i have a pneumatic valve for close/open tool in spindle
one stepper motor for rotation of chain tool
one stepper motor for pot up and down
one stepper motor for rotation of tool claw body with two tool clamp
one stepper motor for up and down of tool claw body with two tool clamp

all these motor im move without problem with arduino,with breakout board active a relay and it "press" start of all sequence of motor,in this system in not make all cam system of atc....

my very problem is the memory of mach3 of position of tool on the pot:
if i have tool 1 on the spindle and tool 2 on pot 4 and on the gcode start M6
the atc exchange the position of tool 1 and 2 ,and when the M6 is finished,i have a tool 2 on spindle and tool 1 in pot4

mach3 have a possibility to use that type of atc ??
