Strange zeroing occurrence
« on: July 12, 2016, 08:06:26 AM »
Once zeroing all axis' if I then press the go to zero button when away from zero it often goes to Z-5 or there abouts but if I then press go to zero again it goes to Z0. This only ever happens to Z and usually goes to very close to Z-5 but always goes to exactly Z0 when I press go to zero again.

This makes this function almost useless as it crashes the bit into the zero if there is material there.

Please help suggest why this would be?

I havnt played with the gauge block setting on offsets page(not an expert)but if you have a free input on control board you can easily make an auto tool zero setter out of some aluminum or something. I found this video very helpfull. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=G4DeVa8rzA0
