MACH3 losing machine coordinates after a reset
« on: May 08, 2016, 09:58:03 AM »
I'm in the home stretch of lobotomizing a Multicam MG208 cnc router
with Mach3.

I've inserted a CSMIOIPS from CS-Labs in place of a Multicam M24
motion controller. It is driving stepper motors.

She homes. She moves. She cuts. She makes shavings.

However, she consistently loses her machine coordinates.

When I hit Reset twice, once to stop and once to restart, the green
borders haloing the axis buttons to the right of Reference All
turn off and I cannot jog with the soft limits.

This also happens is the machine sits unattended for more than
5 minutes.

What simple setting am I overlooking that is creating this issue.

Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Why are you hitting RESET????????????  To start and stop what?

The boarders around the axis`s tell you the machine has been referenced.  If they go away or turn off, that means in that cycle of things....like after a RESET...... it no longer knows where they reff point is.  Which also means that soft limits will not work either.
