Hey guys, this is my last resort. I've printed 5 different wiring schematics, used the automated technology instructions, Youtube, and other website links for any help. I still can't get the Nema 24 working. This is my first try at converting my mill to cnc so I bought all the equipment for 1 axis, X and wanted to test the wiring and motor through Mach3.
Here is what I bought. KL-4030 driver, KL-db25 BOB with Mach3 with relay and PWM spindle, and a Dual Shaft Nema 24 100mm 4Nm(566 oz.in).
I've tried wiring bipolar parallel, and series using the wiring from the site where I bought the motor. I used automated technologies wiring instructions in addition to wire the driver, BOB, and power supply. I set up mach3, with just the single X axis just as explained in many videos. I have to say I don't think it's a Mach3 set up issue. It seems pretty straight forward for 1 axis. I have the emergency stop wired correctly, that's the only part I know for sure because I can test that wire and it will emergency stop in Mach3. I'm using XP 32 bit and have attached all the wiring instructions used.
What am I doing wrong, or am I missing? Is there a compatibility issue with the driver/motor/bob? Any help is really appreciated.
Thanks
Tyler
