Mach3 G-code Bug
« on: March 17, 2016, 11:50:39 AM »
I develop my G-Code on my laptop and then transfer it to my Windows XP system that runs my CNC engraver. Everything is fine on my laptop and I can load the G-Code into Mach3 (on my laptop) and it looks perfect. Once I move it to the actual CNC computer and load the G-Code it seems to be corrupt and the image is distorted in the Mach3 preview. Some of the image is there but most of it is missing.

The CNC server cuts the sample RoadRunner perfectly, I just cannot load any other G-code without it being corrupt.

CNC System Windows XP 32 bit  (Current Video Drivers)
Mach3 Version R3.043.066

PS: This is a NEW system setup for a new desktop engraver I purchased.

I have attached the .TAP file I am using but it happens with any file I try to load.

Thank you for any help you can provide!

Randy

What software are you using for the gcode? The gcode you attached is using a generic post processor. What does your cnc machine require for a post processor? Also I would not use mach V.066 it has known problems. Use Mach V.062.
