So what would yall think about a new Ethernet controller than can do Rigid tapping(mill)  AND encoder threading(Turn) in MACH3

Who wouldn't want the Holy Grail?  (Of course it doesn't work out well for the guys in the movie.)

Price, within reason, is not a big issue for me.
What I look for is 24v I/O, Analogue I/O, if Step/Dir then it should be differential and the frequency needs to be in the MHz range. Preferably Analogue command for me though.
So any more info on this new controller TP?

Well if it doesnt have a Mach3 Plugin then the title is very misleading

I'm intrigued.

However the KFlop has always been able to handle both of those features, although it is USB only.

Threading on a KFlop requires a spindle encoder (a single slot won't work), and doesn't involve any extra coding like rigid tapping, although it still suffers from the issue of slow pull out in later Mach versions :-/

Is this something that will show up "down the road" on its own or is it something that TP alone has in his pocket?
