90 degree sharp turns
« on: February 22, 2016, 12:55:15 PM »
Hello,

Hope someone can advice me please.

I'm new to this, got my machine setup and calibrated.

I'm trying to do a square but my corners are being cut slightly rounded. I would like them to be 90degree turns.

If there anyway to do this properly?

I'm using DevFoam pro and Mach 3.
Thank you

To get a sharp corner you need to change from G64 mode to G61 mode until you get around teh corner then switch back.  OR change the settings in CV mode to exclude any angle less then 89 degs

In General Config, check "Stop CV on Angles<" and set it to 89. You can then get sharp corners with CV mode on.
