Code associated with OEM Button
« on: February 21, 2016, 05:34:51 PM »
A couple of years ago I "played" with Mach3 and made some changes to the screen sets, of course I took no notes of what I had done and how I did it!

I have recently got back into CNC and one of things I want to do is modify how the FLOOD script works. OEM 113 is the flood toggle which I assume just alternately toggles the code for OEM 224 Flood on and OEM 225 Flood off. From my hazy recollections there is a way to edit the code associated with OEMs 224 and 225, but after a few hours searching I have come up blank.

So, 2 questions is it possible to edit the code, if so where can it be found?

Thanks

wooly

No, you can't edit OEM functions.
However, you can replace the button call with VB sscript, which would let you do anything you want.

Thanks for the quick reply. You say that "you can replace the button call with VB script", can you point me in the right direction as to how to do that, either a tutorial somewhere or a brief explanation?

I have been using MACHSCREEN but haven't found an obvious way to associate VB Scripts

Many Thanks
