Mach 3 g code trouble
« on: January 13, 2016, 12:51:22 AM »
Hey everyone. I was wondering if anyone has had trouble w Mach 3 not recognizing certain lines of g code programs that are posted from note pad? I have certain lines that it will leave out or not recognize until I state it again.. So i have to have 2 of the exact same line and it will only read one. Thanx if anyone has any input

A curious issue which I have not heard of before, my first thoughts are that you need to re-install Mach3.

Could you perhaps zip and post one of your Gcode files that has this problem ?

YES I have seen this in the past. It ended up as a corrupt Gcode file that has a hidden charrector in the file at that line's position.  IF you recreate it from scratch( not copy it)   and delete teh old file normally your problems will be solved.

It is NOT  a notepad problem . It simply is a corrupt file.  It could have been created by your post if you used Cam.
