Your opinion RE BOB issue
« on: January 06, 2016, 09:04:33 AM »
Hi All,
I have purchased a "Leafboy77" BOB and after pulling my hair out for a while I have found out that it does not support "Mach3 SLAVE".

I contacted the supplier and they did confirm this but they told me to simply connect the Y-Axis output to the 2 individual motor drivers. I can see this working but would like your opinion on whether or not it is acceptable to do this long term and if anyone could think of any implications.

The company has also offered a refund if I am not happy  :)

What would you all do?

Regards

Bob Lindsay

Throw it in the garbage and buy something not from China.

Most if not all of the chinese motion controllers don't support as many features as other available ones. Many 2010 Screenset users find that probing doesn't work properly with a lot of them.
