FWIW,

We have used KL23H2100-03-4BM ( think they are 500 in oz and 3.0 A).
Have a look at the motor curve for comparison.

Hmmmm....as long as you can get the velocity and accel you want, having extra power fro the same $ is a plus.

500 in oz motors sound to me like a “monster” motors RICH, lol

For your application they may be ok but for a hobby use perhaps they are an overkill. Even the 381 oz in which Gerry suggested, although a good idea I still can’t decide if they are the right choice for me.
