Tangential cutter

The newest version of mach3 doesn't lift before prepping the head. It lifts and prepped at the same time. This was fixed in a earlier version but is back not working.
Thanks

Hi Don,
It is my understanding that future development of Mach3 has ceased (in favour of Mach4 taking over) so the existing tangential problems are unlikely to ever be fixed.
This thread may be of interest, where rolling back to using an earlier version may help but in solving one problem others seem to be created.

Is Mach4 going to have a tangential function. Mach3 was such a great program and yes the tangential part kind of came and now gone. Thanks for the help I'm going Bach thru the different versions now.
Thanks

Ok, got it figured out, I think. You have to have your z lift equal to the depth of cut and the distance above your work that you want your head to prep.
Thanks
