Hello again Chip
I have a 728 op amp would that do?
As for the g-code dwell that is how I have my spindle  test program set up.
It starts at 100 rpm for 5 secs then reverses for 5,goes on to 500 and then 1000 and
that were it errors out,it just looks like it is not ramping down before it changes direction.
Oh well I will keep plugging away.

No you need a 555 timer.

Do you have the Immediate Relay off before delay Checked in ports & pins Spindle Setup page.

Are you using an M5 in your code and the G04 Delay.

Hey Chip

I did get a chance to fool around with the circuit ,and found some values that work for the index.
However I notice at higher spindle speeds around 1000 rpm and above with a m05 the servo drive
just kicks out,but with the warm weather outside here right now I have been busy with other things.
Funny thing is if I set it up as the z axis, the motor will spin up to around 3100 rpm ,ramp and reverse
no problem. The motor is just clamp to the table for the time being,I still have more work to the z axis
set up and then I will give it another go.

Hi, Rick

Post the values for R1 & c1 when you get a chance, Happy it works.

The M05 should turn the Spindle Off, I don't understand exactly what your saying.

If you have a Dual Trace Scope, Look at the input & output Pulses.

With a 10 turn R1, You may be able to tweak for more Speed if needed.

The ability of Mach to have time see the delay pulse & the output pulse  reseting before the next input pulse, Set the Speed Max Limit.

 O K the resistor value is 1K and cap is 0.1 uf. This seemed to be the best values for my setup.
