CSMIO -A following error
« on: May 18, 2015, 01:23:00 AM »
Hi
I am retro fitting a Biesse Rover C9 router with the analogue version of CSMIO , I am very impressed with the functions of CSMIO and I am at the servo tuning stage
The servo amps have been tuned for Peak PID , however , the CSMIO following errors seem to be too large
What is a typical max Following error , the attached picture shows the following error and MAX Acceleration , the axis have a sharp response
regards peter

I am not sure if the auto tuning in the IP-A has improved lately or not but certainly when I set the Chiron up it got me to a reasonable starting point, I then had to manually adjust the PID to get things much better.
