Stepper moves random directions, hits limit switch, stops
« on: January 23, 2015, 11:17:53 AM »
Hi,

Here's my problem:

When I tap my button to jog Y in one direction repeatedly it will randomly switch direction and then mach3 says it hit the limit switch.  Then I can reset it and try moving in either direction and it will do nothing and say the limit switch was hit.

The mill I'm using does not have limit switches.  I'm using a Taig maybe DSLS3000, but I'm not exactly sure.  It does have encoders.
Here is the exact motor controller I'm using: http://www.microproto.com/driver.htm

I've swapped out boards in my motor controller, cables, and steppers and I'm pretty sure I've determined the problem is software related.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Ryan
