Internal Error B109-13: Cannot decompress setup program

Hi All, My name is Elizabeth and I just bought through the internet a CNC machine to do some engraving work. I am completely new to this. This is a mini CNC machine - 3040 CNC Router Engraver Drilling Milling machine. I have bought a USB to Parallel adapter, to be able to connect the machine to my desktop PC. Once I input the CD to install the software I get the following error: Internal Error B109-13: Cannot decompress setup program. I can't seem to find any information on this error on the internet. The machine did not come with a proper manual, just a one pager copy that does not say much. According to the name on the software showing on the PC, it is Mach3Version D1.90.038.exe.

Can anyone help me please?

Afraid a USB-Parallel Port adapter will not work, it does not have the strict timing constraints that are required for Mach.
If you do not have a parallel port on your computer then you can go down two routes, one is to get a PCI addon port, the other is to get one of the many external motion controllers available for use with Mach.

One other thing worth mentioning, the parallel port will only work with a 32bit operating system, so if yours is 64bit then you will need an external controller.

As well as Hood's point, you might want to download the latest Mach 3 image from the website.

The problem is the copy of the software you have . I had this problem yesterday and it was resolved by the seller sending me a new copy of mach3
