Mach3 In-Position & Alarm Configuration
« on: November 01, 2014, 08:04:41 AM »
Guys,

Finally needed some help for something I couldn't find by searching.

I have a pair of new leadshine closed loop steppers and controllers and wanting to configure the drivers feedback for In-Position & Alarm

I've been so far unable to locate these inputs on Mach3 and hope someone can help me out!

Cheers

Cameron

There is no such thing in Mach. Depending on what you wish to do with these signals it may be possible to assign them to inputs and then have the macropump or a brain look at these inputs and do what you want to do.

Really? How do people handle an error and pausing the processing if the drives give an error?

That sounds like an E-Stop situation to me, so I suppose you would integrate the fault signal into your E-Stop chain and use the E-Stop input in Mach.
