Homing Switch is switched on how do I reverse this
« on: August 09, 2014, 02:37:58 PM »
Hello,

I have a homing switch that is depressed when mounted to the machine.  The normal position is when the switch is not depressed and I want to activate the home position when the switch is no longer depressed.

I can't seem to find a way to make Mach3 think that the depressed switch is the normal when not homed?  Is anyone familiar with my dilemma?

Thanks,

Lee

I have a switch like this on my Z slide on my plasma table. The switches I purchased have three pins; NO (normally open) and NC (normally closed) and Line In pins. On my Z I have the switch pressed until it limits out so I used the NC pin. Then all my limit switches are configured alike in Mach 3. Wether possible to do that in Mach3, I don't know. I didn't try to figure that out because my switches came with either option. FWIW that my experience! Brian
