Motor turns faster in one direction
« on: July 18, 2014, 03:24:00 PM »
I had my machine running great for many years. I built a new one and moved the motors to it. Unfortunately I used one different cable which was miswired and burned out my Xylotek driver board. I got a replacement and now nothing runs right. Motors will turn faster and travel more in one direction then the other and its bumpy . I removed the motors from the machine to make sure it had nothing to do with the machine. Xylotek support says it has nothing to do with the board, it's a PC problem. PC and Mach were working fine before. I can't think of any way to fix the problem with MACH. Any ideas?

Find it hard to see how it could be a Mach issue. Mach sends out pulses and the direction is controlled by a single signal, so the pulses will be exactly the same no matter which direction you are going.
