DRO's show Movement - Stepper Motors Dont Move
« on: May 20, 2014, 08:24:54 PM »
I recently Purchased a Sanven 6040 desktop CNC through Amazon.  I set it up and was able to Jog by using the arrow keys .  I tried to set the X, Y and Z zeros now The DRO's show movement but the stepper motord\s don't budge an inch. Has anybody else experienced this and if so what did you do?
Thanks

Could be many things but first thing to check is the correct port address is set in Mach.

Hi Hood,
Thanks for responding to my post.  You brought an interesting point.  My computer has Port 1 taken up by the Mother board.  I waqs wondering if you had any ideas?  Thanks

Look in device manager for the port address. What Windows calls the port is irrelevant, it could be LPT1 or 3 or 20, all that matters is you put the correct address in the box in Mach.

If you attach your xml I will takle a look at that and see if there are issues with your config.
