Slave Axis with Ref All Home
« on: April 20, 2014, 07:46:26 PM »
New user here and having a small issue. I have a slave axis (A) slaved to Y which works while running sample Gcode or jogging. However, when I click the "REF ALL HOME" button, only one motor turns. I checked the Home Slave with Master Axis and that is unchecked. Everything else is by the book, pretty straight forward. I am puzzled.

Do you have both A and Y home switches, or just Y? If just Y, then you need to check "Home Slave with Master"

Thanks for the quick reply! Yes, I only have one switch on the Y axis and none on A. I ordered some more switches to limit each axis. Is there a problem with putting the ++ side of each axis in parallel to turn off all movement when a switch is hit?
