Lathe / Mill Screens Under Development
« on: March 26, 2014, 07:52:06 PM »
I've been working for the past few weeks on a lathe screen and have it at an interim point where I thought I should share it for feedback.  I'll admit that with the soon to be released Mach 4, I hope this isn't a wasted effort.

The screen is setup for a 1920 x 1080 monitor.  My guiding theme was to produce a screen that was clean, simple, uniform, and easily tweaked without going back to an image editor to change background layouts, etc.  Not sure if I've succeeded on all counts, but I'm happy with the results so far.  In addition to the lathe screen, my intent is to assemble a mill screen with virtually the same layout.  The mill screen would be adjusted to account for mill specific features.

All feedback is welcome as I know all of you are more experienced than I.

Rick,
Screens for Mach3 will not work with Mach4.
Effort is not wasted though since who knows when Mach4 lathe will come to be and the experience you acquired will assist you in Mach4
when making a custom screen.
