Hello, Im buying a USB microscope to find edges, probably I will get a 2MP from supereyes but they have with manual focus and autofocus.

Witch one is better for this aplication? Autofocus will help or will complicate things in a video edge finder?

I use a web cam which has manual focus which allowed me to modify the manification and working distance.
You can find info on what I did in the Copycat Manual located in Members Doc's  Appendix D.

It's quite accurate in use and satified my needs,
