CAD to lazy cam

I'm new to all this i am using auto cad 07 to lazy cam to get code.my problem is that i have a simple draw a eclipse and two circles i save as dxf file and try to bring into lazy cam i only have two chain they are the two circles but my oval is missing. i thing its because the item is not joined but do not know how to join

LazyCAM can't read an AutoCAD ellipse. Here's a workaround. In AutoCAD, type PELLIPSE and enter 1. Then draw your ellipse. It won't be a true ellipse, but you'll get an approximation made up of polyline arcs. LazyCAM should see it fine then. Also, be sure to save as a v12 .dxf

I have a macro that will export g-code from within AutoCAD, if you're interested.
