Mach3 Drivertest Fail Win7 32 Bit
« on: October 09, 2013, 02:09:42 PM »
Hi there.
I apologise if this has been answered already though I have searched and found nothing, hence my post.
I am running mach3 on windows 7 64bit with an external controller (UC100)
Windows is loaded onto a macbook pro via bootcamp partition.
My issue: The drivetest.exe fails to load. when I follow the setup manual advice and manually load the mach3 pulsing engines driver i get an error message basically saying that the driver files in my mach3 folder are not suitable for 64bit. However I need to run the 64bit version to support the external controller!
I am hoping someone can point me in the direction of the right drivers!
Any help is very much appreciated! Lisa

Drivertest won't run in 64bit Windows. However, with a motion controller like the UC100, you don't need to run the Driver Test, as you won't be using the driver. Drivertest is for the parallel port driver, which you won't be using.
