Pokeys57E and VBscript button
« on: September 09, 2013, 09:09:27 AM »
How can i hit a button on mach3 that contains some VBscript,
by using Pokeys Ethernet (hardware button connected on input pin).

I had done it with USB Pokeys in the past by key mapping.
But as i can see there is no key mapping on ethernet Pokeys.
Am i right?

Send me some ideas pls.
Regards,
Giannis

Search this doc for SetTriggerMacro.

http://www.machsupport.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/Mach3_V3.x_Macro_Prog_Ref.pdf

Alternatley, you could use the pokeys to turn on an led and have the macro pump execute the Script if the LED is on.

Thank you Brett,
everything works as the document describes.

One thing that is happening now is that the Macro runs only after finishing the shape cutting and not in the middle of cutting.
That's a problem, while it contains also a "pause" call and should pause durring cutting.
Got any idea?
