DROs, first screen
« on: September 03, 2013, 01:31:48 PM »
I'm using the Mach3Screen, with three DROs for XYZ axes. I place, the dimensioned and lined up, I double click and put X position, Y position and Z position respectively and saved the file as mypantalla.set in C:\mach3.

I carry my screen with View-loadscreen and pressed the arrow keys but the indicators remain static.

I also tried to change the resolution of the screen opening Mach3ScreenTweak_Open.set_ControlEdit and the resolution is 640x480, try changing it to 1024x768 and rescale_close but not accepted.

I'm doing wrong?

thanks
Renato

For jog to work from any screen the screen must have a jog enable led on it.

You should also have a reset button and LED, to make sure the system is not in estop.

thanks, now i can move the DROs, both as JogON/OFF and Estop enable these.

To create the RESET, first put a green LED and active (green) and (Flash this LED when active), after create a Bitmap button then double click active (RESET) and put the link of the photo. However, the LED covers the entire RESET button with a dark green color.

As I can do to make the RESET is always visible? and also with the click sound?

thanks
Renato

The LED needs to use the image you want for the button, and the button should use an empty transparent .png file. You can use a 10x10 pixel .png, and size it the same size as the LED. Place the LED first, followed by the transparent button.

I don't believe there's any way to ad sound to a button click.

I place first the LED, in property (green) (Flash this Led When active) and (Estop), then put bitmat buttom properties (RESET) and placed a photo .png file, however the LED continues hidden the figure.

I open the 1024.set, and i see the button CycleStart with extension. jpg, and LED green, i try make cyclestart button in the same way, but the LED continue hiding .jpg image.

I charge 1024.set and see the LED only latches on the sides of the rectangle, not the entire area, i still can not do this. what lack?

thanks,
Renato

You need to do it exactly how I said. Whatever you want the button/led combintation to look like, needs to be in an LED image. You then need to place an Image button, and the image must be a blank, transparent .png, placed over the top of the LED. THis is the only way to get a button over an LED and have it work correctly. If you can upload your button and led images, I can probably make a sample to show you how to do it.
