Using mach3
When I tell my mill to go to home
the x and y will move first then z last
I want the quill to go up first so it will not crash or break a bit
how do I tell z to home first then x and y
I am new at this
thanks

GoTo Zero is different than homing. The default Home routines home z first.
If you want GoTo Zero to go lift Z first, then enable Safe Z in Config > Safe Z.
