Driver crash after 3-4 sek
« on: August 16, 2013, 11:33:37 AM »
 Hi
I'm new here, and need help with my driver on mach3, I have a stationary 3 Ghz pc  where I have run an other cnc software to my mill.
but now I'll like to try and bye mach3 but nomather what I try my driver crashes after a few sekunds, I've cleaned my mashine formated it. dis engage all net wok in bios removed all
what I kan remove from OS without luck, and I've done everything after the instruktions (reboot/ driver test e.c.)
when I reinstall driver and run driver test it loks fine for 2-4 sek. and then Blach Peaks covers the screen and pulses fall to under 300
I need good ideas to what to do nekst. The only thing I can think off is if there is anything in my Bios that can do this, and what.
I need to say that I can run my mashine for the same time ( 2-4sek.) smooth after reinstall driver before it goes totaly wrong (runs very slow and seems not to know wath way to drive my spindels)
ps. have run my home made mill for ten years with others software without problems of this kind, hope you can hep me thanks

My thoughts are that Windows is still running another task together with the driver test program. When the problem occurs, does (Ctrl/Alt/Delete) Task Manager / Applications show anything running ?
Also perhaps check that you do not have a printer installed, possibly with documents still in the print queue.

Tweakie.
PEACE

 Hi Again
Now I have tried to formate my HD and installed Win.7 insted, and it did not change anything :-(
it must be a bios or motherboard problem I think.
