Getting concentric circles from the file
« on: August 09, 2013, 04:19:52 PM »
I have saved the yacht demo file from Velectric cut 3D, and have used it to cut several pieces, so it is a proven file , and no issues with the PP.
Today I opened the roughing file  and now, out of the blue, it has about 50 concentric circles in the tool path.

The finishing file does not have them.
WHat happened?
Where did the G2 commands come from in the roughing file?
did I set some option  unknowingly?

Sounds like you need to change the IJ Mode in the Mach3 General Config page.  ;)

No, the mode does not change on it's own.
Dependant on how your CAD / CAM software generates the arcs, the CAD / CAM post processor usually inserts the G90.1 or G91.1 as appropriate then Mach knows what to do without any operator intervention but in your case it seems to have been missed.
