Help Setting up Enroute for Mach3 Output
« on: July 05, 2013, 11:01:13 AM »
New to this forum. I bought a used home-built cnc XYZ router, computer, and Mach3 program and want to set up Enroute to output for Mach3. Does anyone know what machine driver to load to output to a .tap, a .nc or a .ncc code? Thanx for any assistance.

Not much help. Thanx! The former owner would not transfer ownership of the Mach3 and Enroute software to me because I beat him up pretty good on the price. The only thing I need is what machine generates .tap, .nc or .ncc codes? My VCarve Pro will generate G codes (.tap), but I know Enroute much better, so it would be much easier to use it than to learn Vcarve.

My curves are not smooth in VCarve as seen in my photo. I was hoping that VCarve's G code was not generating a smooth code. Any suggestions?

The extension has nothing to do with IF Mach3 will run the code all it needs is a text version of the Gcode. The extension letters can be anything.

You just need the proper POST for the cam to output the proper Gcodes for mach3.
