Mods to add Mist Coolant Button
« on: June 21, 2013, 01:49:30 PM »
Would someone volunteer to modify a screen to include a "Mist Coolant" toggle button above the "Flood Coolant" toggle button?  There are other mods on my screenset already as I'm using one of HossMachine's screensets for homing.  Would you need my screenset uploaded or could I insert just the changes in one of the free screen design programs?  I have Screen4, but am only familiar enough with it to get in trouble.

Hi,

if you use MachScreen do the following:
select the button "toggle mist coolant"
copy the selected button by clicking    CTRL C
paste the button by clicking CTRL V
move the Cursor slowly until the shape changes to a crosshair
while the crosshair is shown hold down the left mouse button and drag the button to the place you want your flood coolant button and leave left mouse button
double click 113 in the property dialog and change it to 114
save the screen set and load the new screen set in Mach3.

If anything goes wrong, use the CTRL Z keys for undo the last Action(s)

So this copying the existing "Toggle Mist" button and associated script on the Diagnostics page and pasting it to the Program Run page near the "Flood" button?

Oopps, I see now you are copying the Flood and changing it to Mist

if you have an existing "Mist Coolant" button you can copy it from any page to your progr run page without changing the function code. BTW. there is no script associated to that button. 114 is the function code "Mist Toggle "

Well, it "looks" like it worked.  Also did the same for the LED after finding the right number.  I did "save as" the screen and will copy it over to the control PC for testing.

Thanks,
Jim
