Game controller

Hi all,
I have not been around in a long while as I was moving from Wisconsin
to New Mexico, but I am back now to pester you with all of my
questions:)
I finally got my mini mill out of storage and am starting to play
around with it again. While unpacking my stuff I found a USB game
controller amongst my jusnk. It has 10 programable buttons, 2
joysticks, and a pad that is similar to a joystick. My question to you
is what should I do with it to use it as a pendant( I think thats what
you call it). What are the most appropriate uses of the buttons, and
the joysticks and pad also. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks, and good to be back!!

Walt
