Hello,

I'm using Mach3 (v3.043.067) with PoKeys56E (latest firmware 3.0.56 7.5.2013).
I use Pulse Engine to control my motors.

I connected MPG to PoKeys (setup as Encoder 4, pin7 and pin8, DRO 101).
„Let Pokeys handle MPG jogging“ in ecnoder setting is checked.

With this I can jog without any problems. Issue is, that DRO101 when used in
brain doesn't count pulses from MPG. DRO101 is always 0.

If „Let Pokeys handle MPG jogging“ is unchecked, jogging doesn't work,
but in brains I can see DRO101 counting pulses from MPG.

I would like to use MPG to JOG when X,Y,Z axis is selected and change
for example Feed Rate when X, Y, Z is not selected, that's why I need to read DRO101
in brain.

I searched all possible forums, read various guides for PoKeys and MPG,
but nothing helps. I also tried other DROs, User DROs, but without success.

Any advices ?

Hello,

It seems the issue described above is problem of firmware 3.0.56 (7.5.2013).
I downgraded back to 3.0.46 (17.1.2013) and it works fine.

MPG connected to PoKeys (setup as Encoder 4, pin7 and pin8, DRO 101).
„Let Pokeys handle MPG jogging“ in ecnoder setting is checked.
Jogging works and also DRO101 is always updated as it should be.

Would be nice if it can be fixed in upcomming developement version or normal release.
