Unable to config or setup Auto tool zero in Mach3
« on: April 09, 2013, 12:36:49 PM »
I am new a newbie, I am trying to setup and config Auto Tool Zero in Mach3. I am working with a C25- Smooth Stepper LPT board with USB connection. I am using port 1 pin 10. The Probe  is enable and the digitize LED is on but no pin current LED is on in the diagnostics screen. Is this saying my controller cannot work with auto tool zero? My cnc machine is a JUCT-6090B.
Can anyone give suggestions.

Thanks in advance

I am having trouble as well but with the setup of the gauge block where in the script do I set the gauge block height so it will go to actual zero after touch off

It touches off on the plate so if you try to go to 0 your going to have to go through your plate to get there. The script at the link touches the plate, sets position to what ever you set the plate thickness to in the script then backs off the plate to .250 form 0. Go to zero by commanding it in MDI or pressing the GoTo0 button. Just be sure to get your plate out of the way first.
