Set chain Depth button
« on: February 02, 2007, 06:55:51 PM »

Well so far I like the program. The first  problem I have is that the popup windows are way too big. I don't have a 50" monitor.

The problem is a real issue is the set chain depth button. No matter what drawing I put in (drawn on ACAD saved R-12) the program shuts down when I use the button. It happens on every release of Lazy cam.
I would be happy to supply any info from the error message that you need.

It also crashes if I try to use the Origin.

Any ideas, hints, best guesses Can I borrow a sledge to threaten it to work...  :) :) :)

Hi, Elcam

This problem has existed for some time, It doesn't bother some computers, It has been an on-again, off-again problem for me.

This is a on-going development program, Use the right hand lower Layer/Object Porop... for entering your cut depth, each layer has

only one depth, if you need different depth on an item right click on it, assign it to a different layer.

Use the Set origin min button to set origin, it works fine you just cant move into the drawing.

Brian posted, It may be a Graphics Issue causing this, Fix in the works I hope.

Hope this Helps, Chip

Hmm didn't know why I didn't think graphics. Haven't had an issue like that since the old 486. I'll turn off the acelleration etc and see if it makes a difference.

I have been doing it through layercontrol at the top and that works.

One other thing I noticed was the drawing locks up if you use the remove redundant button. It doesn't close the program just locks up the drawing. I can load it or another drawing and it's back to normal.

I realize it's under development. It's going to be a great program when finished.
