« on: January 15, 2013, 10:39:11 AM »

This is the setup I have a 200step motor 1/8 turn I have a 40 tooth pulley and a ten tooth pulley I have the stepper driver set to 1/16 step if that matters. I tried to do the math but I must be doing something wrong I came up with 177.7777 If I plug that number in to
mach 3 and tell the machine to go g0 a360 the chuck will make several revolutions what am I doing wrong. Thanks for any help Gary

200 steps per motor rev multiplied by 16 for microstepping multiplied by 4 for gearing  and the divided by 360 = 35.5555555555 steps per unit (degree)
