feed rate overrun
« on: January 12, 2013, 09:40:40 AM »
 hello every one
i m new to mach 3, i have assembled all parts n used mach 3 trial version, axis do not move as fast as they should or as fast i want  them to move, feed rate it show is 6, then for the given program it simulated expected time say 60 minutes,
then i selected max feed rate over run it show 18...or 300% but still it is slower, simulation expected time show about 40 minutes,it is still not satisfactory, i want to know if paid  version of mach 3 allows  feed rate overrun more than 300%,[[ my program involves interpolation.. and i have tried  by changing velocity and acc time in motor config for each axis ]]
  plz  reply soon  thanks

Your g-code should have a feedrate i nit, like F100
6is the default feedrate when you open Mach3.
Your g-code need to tell Mach3 how fast you want it to go.
