External E Stop requested
« on: January 04, 2013, 01:55:42 AM »
I downloaded a new Mach3. Latest lock down version. I get a flashing reset button and a notation saying EXTERNAL E-STOP REQUESTED.  I don't have the parallel port connected. I have connected it and turned on the charge pump with the same action except the green light on the gecko shuts off and the red comes on. Any advice would be a good thing

You will need to go to Config menu then Ports and Pins then Inputs and scroll down to E-Stop. Change the active state of the E-Stop setting and you should be fine.

Thanks guy, , it goes both ways too. Now to get the settings again and I might have something.
By the way I was reading the New Year resolution topic. Can you make a spot on the preview page that has blanks for XML and machine types and operating systems.
