Once you have your limits set up you can also tell Mach to use them as Home switches.
Ok once you have that done when you press RefAll the machine will home, if you have the homing direction set correctly (tool is lower left of work area and fully up) you can then set the Soft limits.
For X and Y Min you want to set 0
For X and Y Max you want to set the distance of the respective axis
For Z Max you want 0
Fro Z Min you want the distance of the axis but as a negative number
You can then also set a slow zone, probably something about 5 or 10mm (0.2 - 0.4 inch approx) It will depend on your acceleration how big the slow zone needs to be and to find out you need to move a distance away and then jog at full rapid toward the end of axis and if Mach can stop in time your slow zone is fine, if it starts slowing way before then set lower, if it hits the limit set bigger.
